Artisan Ratna Probadi designs the unique clutch, adding a faux leather flap in saddle brown. The clutch is fully lined in plaid cotton and closes with a brass button. About our Artist: 'I design motifs for 'shibori,' a Japanese tie-dye technique,' Ratna Pribadi says. I had been interested in batik and I fell in love with shibori. I began learning and experimenting with the technique, then I found some workshops and have trained with many teachers since then. I work with many kinds of fabric, including cotton, rayon and silk. I grew up in a West Java town. When I moved to a small city, I had to learn to be self-sufficient from that moment on. What's more important, I learned about loving others. To not hurt anyone if you don't want anyone hurting you. Whatever we do today will bring its consequences in the future.'...
